Paul Soltoff, CEOPaul Soltoff, CEO

Paul is a pioneer in the convergence and integration of traditional and new media. Paul is widely recognized for his in-depth expertise in all aspects of traditional direct marketing and Interactive advertising.

Prior to founding acquirgy, he was co-founder and executive vice president of the program-length TV direct response division of Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide. He was also a founding partner of one of the first Internet agencies, Impower, which was a division of American List Counsel. Throughout his career, Paul has been a senior strategic advisor to Fortune 500 companies such as Real Networks, GE, TiVo, Intuit and dozens of other global brands. Paul is sought out as a recognized speaker and publisher regularly across the DR industry. He has been a contributing columnist for DM News, Jupitermedia Corp.'s ClickZ online magazine, Electronic Retailer, Multi-Channel News and other trade and business publications.

Paul has co-authored six books on the subject of selling, direct mail, telemarketing and e-mail.

Steven Morvay, PresidentSteven Morvay, President

Steven is responsible for the delivery of outstanding service and results of every client we serve.

Steven has more than 25 years of experience on both the client and agency sides of the business. He started his career at Ogilvy & Mather servicing such clients as General Foods, Procter & Gamble and TWA for North America and Europe.

He moved into direct marketing as SVP of Ogilvy & Mather Direct and President of Saatchi & Saatchi Direct North America. As SVP of Marketing at retailer Waldenbooks, the group under his control successfully conceived, positioned, designed and launched the Super Store division, which is now Borders Books and Music. His group was also responsible for the company’s 3 million frequent buyer program members and launching the first database driven marketing effort directly to retail customers in the book industry. As President of Collier Newfield Inc., an International direct marketer of children’s book clubs and continuity card programs, he executed a major turn-around of the company including the introduction of both e-commerce and DRTV distribution channels.

Louis Conte, CFOLouis Conte, CFO

Louis Conte, Chief Financial Officer, has primary responsibility for the financial management of the company including oversight of human resources and corporate governance aspects of acquirgy.

Louis joined acquirgy in 2006 as Controller. Prior to joining acqurigy, Louis served as the Controller for several public and privately held companies, and has many years of experience in public accounting.

Louis is a CPA and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Syracuse University.

Irv Brechner, EVP, Corporate CommunicationsIrv Brechner, EVP, Corporate Communications

Irv has been a direct marketer for his entire career, and pioneered online customer acquisition in the mid 90’s.

In his current role he is building the Customer Acquisition Intel Center, which features white papers, executive briefs, cases, points-of-view and many other featured content giving marketers interested in customer acquisition a broad array of valuable information and tactics. Having been involved in customer acquisition offline for 30+ years and online since 1996, Brechner understands how to communicate to colleagues, clients and prospective clients what it takes to succeed using Direct Response TV, Search Engine Marketing and other online acquisition tactics. He has personally been involved in direct response for over 30 years, having built some of the first databases of personal computer owners in the early 1980's. He’s developed and sold software, published a magazine about college, written 13 books, including two best-sellers, in the areas of business, marketing, college and careers.

Harry Greene, EVP ProductionHarry Greene, EVP, Production

A founding partner in acquirgy, Harry brings more than 30 years of direct marketing and television production experience to the organization.

Prior to joining acquirgy, Harry held multiple positions as an Executive Producer, Writer and Director, creating programs, commercials, and infomercials for clients such as the American Egg Board, the Food Network, ESPN, TiVo, RealNetworks, and Hoveround among others.

Cynthia Tully, VP, Account DirectorCynthia Tully, VP, Account Director

Cynthia is the VP, Account Director responsible for all accounts run out of acquirgy’s New York office. In her career, Cynthia has been responsible for developing and managing powerful direct response, online, offline, multimedia and traditional advertising campaigns for consumer-driven and business to business organizations.

At acquirgy, Cynthia supervises some of our largest and most complex online clients, encompassing online and offline channels.

Prior to joining acquirgy, Cynthia was an Account Director at Grey Interactive managing numerous clients including, Procter & Gamble, Starbucks, ADT Security, Mattel and Masterfoods (Mars Inc.).

Carrie Burns, VP, Account DirectorCarrie Burns, VP, Account Director

Carrie manages the St. Petersburg office account team which is responsible for some of our largest and longest running clients. Carrie also manages the acquirgy Emerging Media team creating client opportunities within mobile, social and video.

Carrie has been in the account service industry for over 10 years working in travel, event planning and online marketing awarding her opportunities to travel the world with clients like Honeywell, US Bank, CBS Radio, Intuit and CDW.

In her spare time, Carrie is very active in supporting the health of our oceans and has traveled to Japan multiple times to speak out for dolphins and whales.

Linda Chaney, SVP, Business DevelopmentLinda Chaney, SVP, Business Development

Linda has over 20 years of multi-channel marketing experience including 10 years in DRTV as senior management with HSN. She also owned her own product development and marketing firm working with Tony Little, Big Red Boat, Lake Buena Vista Resorts, Thomas Nelson Publishing, Michael Anthony Jewelers and more.

While at HSN, she pioneered direct response programs with international brands like Maxwell House coffee, Sara Lee, Amtrak, NY Times Magazine Group, Time Warner and all major credit cards that were acclaimed in the Wall Street Journal and numerous trade journals.

Marc Lalosh, Creative DirectorMarc Lalosh, Creative Director

Marc is a creative thinker, leader and problem solver creating high quality work across a multitude of channels. Dedicated to creative exploration and a multidisciplinary approach to creative with interests in design theory, best practices and new & emerging media. Marc is a firm believer in hands-on creative design and development and is an expert in a wide spectrum of design software for web, print, interactive, motion graphics and 3D.

Marc is also an award-winning theatrical scenic designer with multiple state, regional and national top honors to his credit.

Dorothy Weaver, Vice President Digital Marketing ServicesDorothy Weaver, VP, Digital Marketing Services

With eight years of paid search marketing experience, Dorothy utilizes her knowledge to evaluate current search accounts from a strategic perspective. Dorothy is responsible for overseeing day-to-day management of multi-million dollar search media budgets. Dorothy also oversaw the Search Engine Marketing Launch Team. In this role Dorothy developed keywords, wrote copy and implemented landing page strategy for the majority of acquirgy’s Search Marketing Clients, including some of the largest with launches reaching almost a million keywords.

Previous roles include Press Coordinator with CBS Television and Sales Coordinator for MyPoints, an Email Marketing and Loyalty company.
