Media Assistant

Seeking a Media Assistant responsible for providing support in all aspects of the media buying and planning process as instructed, including general administrative tasks, contact with media vendors, and occasional contact with clients. The Media Assistant will maintain a positive, results oriented relationship with all members of Media Services and all other departments within the agency.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work directly with all offline Media Services staff to maintain and improve efficiencies within the department
    • Update Media Services procedures manual when necessary
  2. Receive and process requests from department planners and buyers to send insertion orders, traffic station copy and dub requests
  3. Process requests from stations pertaining to view tapes and air tapes; communicate those requests to appropriate staff within the department; update systems pertaining to those requests
  4. Process all credit applications for media vendors such as television and radio stations
  5. Frequent checks of e-mail and fax for station confirmation of insertion orders, schedule revisions, and schedule cancellations
    • Follow up via phone on outstanding confirmations
    • Maintain daily upkeep of Media Services station file records
  6. Process daily feeds from telemarketing centers, BVS and iFactz; enter that data into media management system in order to report timely results to clients
  7. Request pre-logs and post-logs from media vendors; process data into media management system
  8. Review results and then post rthat data to planners and buyers on a daily basis
  9. Reconcile monthly affidavits and bring discrepancies to buyer's attention in order to resolve billing issues
  10. Develop working relationship with telemarketing centers, dub house and other vendors

 Position Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent agency/station working experience
  2. Strong oral and written communication skills
  3. Strong organizational and analytical skills

  6. Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  7. Skilled at prioritizing under multi-task work conditions

Search Engine Marketing Specialists

Search Specialists report directly to the SEM Manager. The primary duties of a Search Specialist include building keywords, writing advertising text, seeking out landing pages, performing routine bid management, and providing weekly report to clients. In addition to implementing changes within accounts and campaigns, search specialists optimize and improve on account performance, and to seek out opportunities to grow client ROI and sales goals. Specialists maintain strong communication with the SEM manager, account team and search engine representatives regarding campaign changes, recommendations for improvement, budget pacing, invoicing and data analysis. Strong verbal and written communication is essential during client calls where specialists act as the subject expert to their accounts and weekly reports.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Budgets: implementing budgets, reporting budget pacing and provide recommendations to manager.
  • Reporting daily performance to search team and account team.
  • Implementing, monitoring and reporting on tests such as copy, landing page, budget, keyword overlap, multiple match type, etc.
  • Prioritizing, Managing and completing projects and tasks assigned within a given time frame.

Skill Requirements:

One of the basic skills a search specialist must possess is strong verbal, analytical and written abilities. They must also possess excellent time management skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines. Job specific skills that are required include knowledge of the three top tier search engines and the nuances between them, the ability to grasp the search engine marketing process and the ability to organize and comprehend large amounts of data. They must have a strong ability to analyze performance metrics and translate the findings into actionable recommendations. Advanced knowledge and experience with excel, formulas and pivots.
